Most transfers from Lisbon to Porto stick to the motorway. This one takes you through the Douro Valley instead (a UNESCO World Heritage wine region), and turns the drive into a full day there, with two wineries, a Portuguese country brunch and a boat trip on the river, before continuing on to your hotel in Porto.
It's a private vehicle and driver-guide for your group only, with luggage handled door to door. Honest timings: about 4 hours of driving from Lisbon to the Douro, then around 90 minutes from the valley on to Porto: the rest of the day, roughly 12 hours in total, is spent in the region itself, not on the road.

Duca has been arranging private tours and transfers in Portugal since 2004. This is one of our favorite ways to connect Lisbon and Porto: the scenic route, with the Douro Valley as a full day out along the way, not just a stop.
