Itinerary

Day 1 — Lisbon: Belém, Viewpoints & the Historic Center

We start in Belém, home to Lisbon's Manueline landmarks and the Monument to the Discoveries on the riverfront, with the 25 de Abril bridge in view. From there we drive up to Cristo Rei, across the river, for the city's best skyline views. Back in the center, your guide walks you through the ruins of the Carmo Convent and the literary streets of Chiado, down to the grand riverside square of Praça do Comércio. We close the day with sunset at Nossa Senhora do Monte, the highest viewpoint in Lisbon.

Day 2 — Sintra's Palaces & the Atlantic Coast

Day two is Sintra: the fairytale Pena Palace, the ancient Moorish Castle, and the gardens and Initiatic Well of Quinta da Regaleira. We stop in the village to try the local pastries before heading to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe. The route follows the wild Atlantic coast to Boca do Inferno and finishes with a drive through Cascais.

Please note

This is a two-day private tour — overnight accommodation between the two days is arranged separately and isn't included in the price. Infants can't travel on laps — if you need an infant seat, let us know the ages when you book and we'll have one ready.

The vehicle isn't set up for wheelchairs, strollers or pets. There's no public transport near most of the stops on this route, which is part of why a private tour works well here.

We'll need your hotel name and street address to arrange pickup. If your hotel isn't listed but falls within Greater Lisbon, just tell us after booking — there's no extra charge for the pickup.
