The route runs down through the Alentejo coast — Vila Nova de Milfontes, Cabo Sardão, and on into the Algarve near Lagos. It's mostly smaller roads and coastal viewpoints rather than motorway, so the actual driving comes to about 5 to 6 hours, spread across the day with stops rather than back to back.
At the end of the day, we can drop you off anywhere in the Algarve, or turn around and take you back to Lisbon at no extra charge — so this works equally well as a one-way transfer to start an Algarve stay, or as a long round-trip day out from Lisbon.
